Our story
We are Jason and Bethany Schenck, and we are the fourth generation on this farm. From a young age, I (Jason) developed a love for farming thanks to the influence of my grandfather and father. I was helping take care of cattle and driving tractors before I was tall enough to reach the pedals. I always knew that farming would be in my future.
After graduating from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (where I met my wife, Bethany), I was able to combine my love of farming with principles of sustainability and best management practices. After college, Bethany and I settled into my grandparents’ house on the farm - You can often find us riding down the road in our Gator with our two dogs in the back doing cattle and crop checks.
Every day, we strive to be the best caretakers of our cattle and our land. Whether it is in the pasture, or in the field where our forages and grains are grown, you can bet that we are doing our best to make sure our cattle and the land we farm on are cared for properly. We believe this goes a long way in helping customers understand, and appreciate where their food comes from.
